It is easily biodegradable and is of non-volatile nature. It is an eternal weedicide, kills weeds by inhibiting EPPS synthesis in plant. It is a non-selective herbicide that kills all types of weeds. It is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and transferred to the root system/rhizome of weed plants. It is widely used in non-crop areas, open fields, beds and water channels. यह एक गैर-चयनात्मक एवं अंतरप्रवाही खरपतवारनाशक है। यह उगने के बाद नियंत्रण करने वाला खरपतवारनाशी है जो बारहमासी, चौड़ी पत्ती एवं घास्कुल के खरपतवारों का नियंत्रण करता है। यह आसानी से बायोडिग्रेडेबल हैं और गैर-वाष्पशील प्रकृति का है। यह एक अंतरप्रवाही खरपतवार नाशक है, खरपतवार के पौधे में ई.पी.पी.एस संश्लेषण को रोककर खरपतवारों को मारता है। यह गैर-चयनात्मक खरपतवारनाशी है जो सभी प्रकार की खरपतवार को मारता है। यह पत्तियों द्वारा तेजी से अवशोषित हो जाता है और खरपतवार पौधों की जड़ प्रणाली/प्रकंदों में स्थानांतरित हो जाता है। यह गैर फसल क्षेत्रों, खुले खेतों, बड्स एवं पानी के चैनलों में व्यापक रूप से उपयोग किया जाता है।
