यह स्पर्श एवं उदर क्रिया द्वारा कार्य करता है। बहुआयामी होने से यह चूसने, काटने और चबाने वाले कीटों का नियंत्रण करता है। यह शीघ्रता से कार्य करता है। यह सभी शल्क पंरखी (Lepidopterean) कीटों पर प्रभावकारी है। लगातार कार्य करते रहने के गुण के कारण यह लबे समय तक असरदार रहता है। बारिश के पानी से घुलता नहीं। यह किफायती भी है। आखिरी छिड़काव और फसल कटने / तुड़ाई के बीच कम प्रतीक्षा अवधि
